Position Profile
Crowe BGK is seeking Winter Interns for a 4-month or 8-month work term commencing January 2024. Permanent positions upon graduation are available for candidates.
You will be provided with excellent training and gain valuable experience in the following areas:
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns in accordance with Firm standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises
- Assisting in conducting audits on small to medium sized organizations in a variety of industries
- Provide accounting and tax compliance services to private clients for compilation and review engagements
- Prepare Corporate and Estate/Trust taxes
- Process T3, T4 and T5 information return
What you need to succeed:
- Undergraduate – concentration in Accounting
- Highly motivated individual
- Fast learning skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Solid verbal and written communication skills (French and English)
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Experience at a public accounting firm would be an asset
